Keep a Safe Space Open for Palestinian Children
Your Gift Can Spark Hope
The only space for 2,500 children living in Wadi al-Samen, Hebron — surrounded by three Israeli checkpoints — is stolen along with their right to movement, freedom, and childhood.
In Wadi al-Samen, children grow up cut off from their basic right to move freely. Checkpoints and restrictions have turned their neighborhood into an open-air prison, suffocating their childhood and hopes for the future.
Rommana (pomegranate in English) is here to change that. Every month, we reach over 500 children with creative and cultural activities that help them tell their stories, dream beyond the walls around them, and heal from the psychological toll of life under occupation.
Through art, play, and community, Rommaneh strengthens their resilience and reminds them — and the world — that they deserve a childhood full of freedom and possibility.
Your support helps us keep this space alive, reach even more children who need it, and replicate this model in other Palestinian communities facing similar challenges.
Donate today to help Wadi al-Samen’s children reclaim their stories, their joy, and their right to simply be children.
Our Future Through the Eyes of Children
We asked the children: How do you imagine Rommana in the future?
Their answer came in the form of a vibrant vision a five-story building where every floor holds a dream.
First floor: A lounge and play area
Second floor: An art studio
Third floor: A space for meetings
Fourth floor: Activities and events
Fifth floor: A library filled with books and imagination
With your support and donations, we can turn this beautiful vision into reality and build the Rommana that children dream of.
